The advanced diving course is a program that allows students to make dives up to 40 meters deep, lasting 2 days, with a total of 6 dives. It’s a program enjoyed through continuous and supervised experience, designed to introduce divers to a variety of diving activities and to be taught entirely in open water. After successfully completing the course, graduates are considered competent to participate in open water diving activities, as long as the diving activities and areas are similar to those where they were trained.

Important:
We want to remind you that to enter the marina, it is necessary to make a payment of $11,000 COP per day per person. This cost is independent of the diving services we offer. Day 1 – Advanced Training & Specialty Dives
Meet your certified instructor at the marina in Santa Marta before heading out by boat to the first dive sites. After a briefing, you’ll complete several adventure dives designed to improve your diving techniques, including deeper dives, navigation, buoyancy control, and other specialty skills depending on the day’s conditions.
Throughout the day, you’ll gain confidence while exploring vibrant coral reefs and diverse marine ecosystems under the supervision of your instructor.
Day 2 – Deep Diving & Certification
Continue your advanced training with three additional dives, including deep dives of up to 40 meters. Explore new underwater environments while refining your skills and learning advanced diving techniques in real open-water conditions.
After successfully completing all six dives, you’ll receive your NAUI Advanced Open Water Certification, allowing you to dive to depths of up to 40 meters in conditions similar to those experienced during your training.
